A game dispute in the Govindpur Mallikpada area of Howrah's Panchla assembly turned into a violent clash between two groups on April 24, 2023.
The situation quickly escalated, and the electricity in the area was cut off as the groups attacked each other with bombs, stones, and sticks. Some reports even allege that there was firing during the altercation.
Chairs were broken, and the fighting left many individuals injured, causing panic throughout the entire neighborhood. When the Jagatballabhpur police station arrived on the scene, they recovered several fresh bombs.
The police are currently investigating the incident to determine the cause of the altercation and identify the perpetrators.
